Train Your Gaze Stability with Precision
VORtrain is a professional-grade gaze stabilization exercise tool designed for vestibular rehabilitation. Customizable VORx1 and VORx2 exercises for concussion recovery and vestibular therapy—use it in the clinic or prescribe it for home practice.
What is the Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex?
The vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) is an automatic eye movement that stabilizes your vision during head movement. When working properly, your eyes move in the opposite direction of your head, keeping images clear and stable.
When the VOR is impaired—such as after a concussion or vestibular injury—head movements can cause blurry vision, dizziness, and difficulty focusing. VORtrain helps rehabilitate this critical reflex through targeted exercises.
Everything You Need for VOR Training
Everything you need to deliver effective gaze stabilization therapy in the clinic and at home.
Customizable Targets
Choose from multiple word categories, custom words, adjustable sizes, colours, and positions to match each patient's needs.
Built-in Metronome
Pace head movements with an adjustable metronome (40-120 BPM) featuring multiple sound options and visual cues.
Optokinetic Backgrounds
Challenge visual processing with moving stripes, dots, and patterns in multiple directions and speeds.
Light Sensitivity Mode
Gentle mode reduces brightness and disables animations for patients with photosensitivity or migraine.
Cognitive Challenges
Add dual-task complexity with Stroop effect colours and opposite word challenges for advanced training.
Progress Tracking
Monitor exercise compliance with session history, weekly goals based on clinical guidelines, and exportable reports.
VORx1 and VORx2 Training
Two distinct exercise paradigms to comprehensively rehabilitate your vestibulo-ocular reflex.
VORx1 Exercises
Keep your eyes fixed on a stationary target while moving your head side-to-side or up-and-down. This trains your VOR to maintain stable vision during head movement.
VORx2 Exercises
Track a moving target while moving your head in the opposite direction. This is more challenging and trains the VOR along with smooth pursuit eye movements.
Designed for Rehabilitation
Healthcare Providers
Physiotherapists, vestibular specialists, and concussion clinics can use VORtrain during sessions and prescribe it as a home exercise program.
Concussion Recovery
Patients recovering from concussion or mild traumatic brain injury with vestibular symptoms.
Vestibular Disorders
Individuals with peripheral or central vestibular dysfunction experiencing dizziness and visual instability.
Use on Any Device
VORtrain works on phones, tablets, and computers — no app download required.
